A brand-new Internet Exchange has been launched in the eastern region of the Netherlands — specifically for the Enschede area: ENS-IX (Enschede Internet Exchange).
Connecting is completely free with a 10Gbit/s port, and you can request access through any of our data centers. With the ENS-IX initiative, our goal is to strengthen and support the local internet ecosystem in the east of the country. That’s why the cross-connect within InterDC to ENS-IX is also free of charge!

InterDC proudly welcomes Eurofiber Cloud Infra and its DCspine network as the latest connectivity provider within its datacenters. This software-defined connectivity platform operates on Eurofiber’s extensive fiber optic network, linking nearly a hundred datacenters across the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany. As a result, businesses can seamlessly and in real time connect datacenters with each other as well as with public and private cloud environments.
With four datacenters located in Enschede, Doetinchem, and Hengelo, InterDC is a leading player in the eastern Netherlands. Known for its technical innovation and customer-focused approach, InterDC offers tailor-made solutions and complete freedom of choice in connectivity and internet services. The integration with DCspine strengthens its infrastructure, providing greater flexibility for secure and scalable connections.

It has become standard practice to distribute services across multiple datacenters, including for backup purposes," says Roland Kamphuis, CEO of InterDC. After long work of preparation our backone got an upgrade to 1.6TB/s between Enschede, Doetinchem, Ede and Amsterdam! We did this with mutiple 400gbit/s connectons paired togheter to 1.600GB/s. Beside our own upgrades capacity we are able to provice 10gb/s and 100gbit/s ports for cheap! Contact us for more details!
Soon we will repeat this solution for an second route via Hengelo, Zwolle, Dronten, Almere to Amsterdam. Creating a second route for high speed solutions!

To stay green and contribute to our MVA goals, we’ve covered the roof of our data center in Doetinchem with solar panels. With 50 panels, we can generate a peak capacity of 22kW. While that’s still far less than our total energy consumption, it’s more than enough to charge all our cars completely for free — and even at the same time!
